Basking in the sun

On another recent outing
(due to clear blue skies and temperatures in the 40's to encourage us)
we drove 40 miles south to Pasagshak Bay.

Along the way we passed Kodiak's cattle,

with their long hair to keep them warm, even in rain.

Meanwhile, the buffalo calmly basked in the sun.

If they only knew how many humans would
love to be in their place,
enjoying this view!
