When I saw the headline in the paper, I thought it was the "evils of smoking" lecture we heard years ago.
But, then I realized that in Kodiak, smoking means something a little different. The article read:
"Chuck Crapo of the Kodiak Seafood and Marine Science Center will talk about smoking fish at home at 7 p.m. tonight in the Alutiiq Museum.
The talk is the final event in the museum’s annual fall lecture series, and Crapo will share some of the secrets of commercial smoking that you can use at home to improve your fish."
